COVID-19 Update

Hello parents! We hope you are all staying happy and healthy.

We are here for you both in person and by telemedicine visit.

We are currently seeing well patients in the office for physicals and immunizations and we encourage you to bring your child in for these visits to get caught up or to stay current. We are also seeing sick children with NON-COVID-19 related issues in the office. For children with a fever, cough, respiratory symptoms, and/or gastrointestinal symptoms we are scheduling a telemedicine visit.

We continue the following COVID-19 protective measures:

*Taking temperatures of everyone entering the building.

*Only allowing 1 adult into the building with the patient to reduce outside exposure.

*Having patients and parents wait in the car until a medical assistant comes to take their temperatures. After the screening process they will be taken directly to an exam room. If either the parent or child has a temperature the visit will be turned into a telemedicine visit.

*Taking extra measures in our cleaning and sanitizing process.

*Screening all patients over the phone to determine if they should come into the office or have a telemedicine visit.

*Requiring everyone entering the building age 4 and up to wear a mask the entire visit.

*Keeping up to date and following the guidelines of the CDC and the Michigan Department of health and Human Services.

*Staff wearing masks, face shield, gloves, and gowns and are screened daily upon arriving to the office.

This office has two locations, both listed below, at which we serve a diverse pediatric population ages newborn to 18 years. These two locations allow us to fill gaps in pediatric healthcare provider areas, making us more accessible for our patients. The office offers same-day sick- and well-visit appointments from 8:45am-4:30pm at both locations, and allow extended visit times for complex care needs such as newborn well visits, asthma, ADHD management, hospital and emergency room follow-ups, and care transition/coordination visits. We welcome new-patient consultations in which expectant parents can come in and meet one of the providers free of charge.

Newborn Services

We offer newborn care and have privileges at St. Joesph Mercy Oakland and Beaumont. We offer all newborn services including developmental care and routine vaccines.

Toddler/School Age/Teen Health

We offer all developmental care for Toddlers-Adolescents including vaccines and developmental screening.

Same Day Sick Child Visits

We offer scheduled and same day sick visits. As well as ER follow ups, suture removal, and wart treatments.
